As you partner with us, we would like to thank you for your donation to the Christian Shane Fonville Youth Foundation.  The main purpose of the Foundation is to bring youth into the kingdom of God by spreading the love of Jesus Christ in the United States and the world.

The Foundation has two major projects in development: one in Colorado and one in the Philippines.

The Philippine project is the creation of a Youth Activity Center in the village of Ba’Ting from the city of Ilagan, Philippines.  A mission team has already made its way out to Ba’Ting earlier this year to minister and bring medical supplies in the community. During the trip, land was located and steps were created to obtain this land for the Center.  The main purpose of the Center will be to provide youth of the area with a safe place to play games and activities.  It will also, be a hub for adult education and function as a meeting area for the local Methodist Church.  In addition, the land surrounding the Center will be used for farming and the creation of a deep water well to provide clean drinking water.

The Colorado project in development is the building of a Youth Retreat Lodge in Nathrop, Colorado.  The main focus of the lodge will be a meeting center for youth groups to develop a love of nature and all the splendor in which God has created.  Colorado offers many wondrous activities and our hope is youth groups use the lodge for those activities as well as mission opportunities within the area.

 

Our hope is that you feel a little better about your donation and know that we are working towards establishing a strong Christian based foundation that will survive for many years.  We are excited about what has already begun and know God will lead us toward many new opportunities in the future to advance his kingdom.
